This is actually pretty well done for a beta version. I like the feel of it, the start menu, taskbar etc are all nicely done. But yes, you do need to fix the fonts, atleast for the benefit of those who dont know how to change things around. Also, I dont know if you noticed but in firefox, the tabs dont stay like they do for tabs in a window such as the 'Display Props' window, and doesnt match. Anyhow, good stuff, it may not end up being a fav with the guys who make the fancy screenshots :P but Im sure it'll be downloaded a lot :)

Oh, and there should be more consistency in font colours, some buttons have different ones. Just pointing it out since this is the beta :)

Yeah its nice :) Only real prob's are the same ones all dark skins have (blinded by opening google etc)
But its really smooth and stylish, I like it.

this is a good vs, but i think it would help to include a 3dcc theme with it. That way it could change all that black text and what can't be changed in the display properties.

lassekongo: you can add "btntext" in the xml systemmatrics to change the colors of the buttontext in firefox, it does the same thing as changing it in the systemproperties
the text of the tabs in firefox are the same color as your "windowtext" color iirc, which you can add into the xml as well by editing the xml file by hand, basically you can add almost all values a 3dcc changes to the msstyle like that...you can drop me a pm if you want and I tell you in detail how to do that ...bout time we get that wiki on here filled with stuff like that :)
...oh and, I like your vs, probably my fav of yours...tho I'd maybe change the windowbg to the same color as eveyrthing else

slan xp 2.0 is the default vs I load up on other peoples computers for them coz its easy to use, this could take that place if it was tweaked a little more.

SWEET. This is my favorite dark theme. The only thing I don't like is having to turn on cleartype with the default font - I prefer sharper text... That's pretty minor though since I can just change the font if I want.

Certain text color properties in Windows can't be changed in Stylebuilder which is pretty annoying (Message boxes for example). :/ Firefox gets completely black text that can't be changed in Display Properties. I guess a lot of applications may look better if a dark skin for them is used.
