Artist's Note
Noir is based off of Discreet's Combustion film editor product line (think, film Noir) color scheme. It is a dark color style that greatly reduces eye strain when working in low-light environments.

I think the start button is fine. The default icons and startbutton look great against the dark background.

Arrgh, just as I got used to this wonderful theme my eyes twitch when working in photoshop. Everything was too dark so the tools were virtually invisible! Microsoft word were easy on the eyes tho.

Great theme...
I like it because its easy on the eyes. If you do a lot of coding, this one is great. I use it with Eclipse and really like it. The only thing I don't like is coming to bright websites (but that not the theme's fault) -- my gmail text is weird - but workable. I use this one at work, too. I think I'll stick with this one for a while. And I think the Start button is fine :)
