Alpha Media Player X5 is a truly nice skin for Winamp, utilizing the modern skinning interface without trying to be too flashy. The skin is made in the post-industrial style and, following its aesthetics, has sharp lines, dynamic interactions of motion, large buttons, pop-up switches and metal, which is calmed down by aqua green colors and rounded shapes.
In Alpha Media Player, the functionality is the key. Designed as a full-screen skin, it gives you full control over many of the Winamp options. To reach for the equalizer, playlist or media library, you simply click on the Switcher area and choose the mode in its popup menu. Everything is readily at hand, no click-around hunting is involved!
