So what if he took the transparency from zorg! I took transparency too! I didnt feel all to good, but I still took it. Um..now what was I saying? Oh yea, I give this skin a 90 for a few reasons. 1) It has nice use of transparendy. hehe 2) The 3-D effect is REALLY nice. I wish MSPaint would do that. 3) Everything fits together pretty well, except for the volume and the balance buttons. 4) BECAUSE EVERYONE HERE IS SO CRITICAL! so what if misery inspired this guy, give him a chance! *sigh* Overall nice skin, -5 for the vol and balance thing, and -5 for no mini browser

I think it's an improvement on Zorg. Maybe shoulda called it Zorg ver 2. Anyhoo, Iike it a lot.

So It's not as flashy as some others- that's why I like it. I am largly a minimalist (hehe) and I wish more skinners would try the so-called "dull" approach. It simple, and to the point. And what are you saying about unoriginal? It's not like Winamp has a thousand shapes to choose from. It's no K-jofol. and 'nuther reason why that shape is being used, is because (almost) all of the multi-component stereo system have those spacers to keep 'em from overheating, and somebody saw them on their stereo, and said "that'd be a cool winamp shape."

ugh you fools... a 15 for a skin is a little unreasonable... even the default skin deserves at least a 60.

ahh, however you look at it, it is clean and smooth, and it does look nice. if you wanted to, you could say he took the colors from beatforge, but what's the point? if the guy likes the color combination, he is allowed to use it. it's not like he may never use a certain feature on his skin just because someone else used it first. it may even look better than the original...

nice again Koozna, and Gllen, they're exactly the words I was searching for...copying the transperancy for example, or imitating something from scratch is ok, just not ripping from other skins...just like songs....a large proportion of songs use the same chord progressions....thats OK...as long as you don't steal the song and put in new lyrics, or use the lyrics in your own song...just like components of a winamp skin.

I compared the skins that these are obviously based on, but there are no graphics taken directly from the other skins. I could take off for a skin inspiring another skin, but then people would complain about the rating. I just decided it's not really that bad if you use other skins for inspiration (as long as the graphics aren't directly ripped) and gave it the rating it deseves.

I'm giving this score just to try and offset the low scores. There are enough skins around now that most all of the major eyecandy that can be used has been. Just because something has a feature that another has, doesn't mean they ripped it. Maybe they've never seen the other. Maybe they saw it a long time ago and liked it, but lost it since so they made up there own version. Maybe they liked it so much they decided to mimic the original to honor it. Who knows. They don't always rip them and do a color swap

I agree with idea 100%. And like I've said before, find me one Winamp skin here on customize that hasn't taken an idea or theme from another skin previous. Oh, and DoorinD, bitching is un-original, and if it's too hard to give constructive critisism then you shouldent be rating skins. period.

ok, glenn, i'm assuming youre still doing the ratings, so i'll address you, do you not realize that these skins are totally unoriginal? and gusto, no its not difficult to do something original. the best skins on this site are totally original. and if someone thinks its too hard to make an original skin because of all the skins there are already, then they shouldnt make one. period. (besides this dosent even look all that good)

Despite there are 100's of winamp skins available, people still insist on calling every new one a rip or a copy if it looks even vaguely similar. this deserves an 80, but I'll post a perfect score to help even out the excessively low ones.

I'm getting tired of all of you complaining about the skins. It is hard to make something very original and cool when ppl have made skins for winamp for a long time. Besides,I like this one!

The skin is from misery but I can't remember the name. Belive me, if you want a skin with this shape, take the one of misery... nice colors though

One of the best Winamp skins I've seen in a while, reminds me vaguely of Misery's Zorg due to the transparency. Very nice. (Update) I'm a little surprised people are calling this a Zorg rip. I saw -VAGUE- similarities, but a RIP? Get serious. Put them side by side. *shakes head*
