I like some things in the brush metal style but this is average. Some areas could use extra detail & styling.

I think if you made the black areas seem embeded in the "metal" that would be a simple, yet huge improvement.

It's a good start, and a decent skin. Work on refining the details like edges and this could be a great skin. Keep working at it. ;)
