Although I understand it is a port of an existing visual style it is still not a very original idea. While not a graphically appealing skin it does have a kind of smoothness to it. My biggest grip is that it seems that all the graphical work went into the control buttons and the play list buttons, the rest just seems like it was rushed to finish up the skin quickly. Perhaps if more time was spent on the other aspects of the skin it would be a skin one could use from day to day.

i'll answer you AverageJoe... Heck yeah, just not people on customize.org... all the users here seem to care about is minimalism, so no, winamp modern doesn't get shown here...
not trying to start something, just stating what i see, and letting you know modern skins are quite popular

mithat always open to suggestions, or is that the extent of your critique? soop wow, thanks for all the input, I really appreciate you takin the time to type all that out. I know where you're comin from, but the basic idea behind the skin is to fit with the VS. I realize it's not exactly a design that's gonna fit on all desktops, like I said, it's made to go with the metallurgy suite. Between keeping in with that basic design, and winamp classic limitations, there's not much creative freedom really left. The best you can do is keep it clean and uncluttered.
