Liquid i think you look a little too much into it, and if you really look at the center piece it is symmetrical, not left and right, but triangualr.

Its pretty well done, but its not as symmetrical as it probably is supposed to be. It looks like you were trying to make the image pretty much even on both sides, but the center piece has different angles on it that are almost symmetrical, but not quite. In design its either one or the other. Either the object is symmetrical, or it's totally unsymmetrical. One can't do almost-symmetrical because it confuses the viewer.
