The largest cultural activity in Pakistan is annual National Folk Festival (Lok Mela), held at Islamabad in October each year. The festival presents a unique opportunity to watch the culture and craft of the whole country at one place. This festival has taken on an international flavor and more than 20 different countries send their artisans and performers to participate in the festival.
