You should add a second color in all that black space on his arm, unless the contest is only letting you do one color, then nm.

i would agree with c72.
imo, you should add an intermediate shade to the scheme; but this said, it would look weird if you didn't add it to each part of the character.

Really nice, but as a wallpaper it'd lose the inner box. I'm not sure if it was intentional, as it is only a shade off of the outer box.
