Very interesting concept and technique. I realize it's meant to be simple, but it might just be too simple. You can keep your white space even if you make the 'people' larger.

to be honest, the thumbnail looked much better...i opened it expecting the people to be much smoother, and i think the texture kind of ruins it. Besides that...i think this is a really cool idea!
