Great work. Very smooth. Next time you might want to consider a different file format. A 5mb bmp is pretty big for just one wallpaper for anyone who has a slow connection.

As a 3d piece it suffers from a certain "canned" quality that only time and experience can cure. But it shows you're willing to work hard within your abilities to get to where you think it should be, and that's all a person can ask for, I guess. I expect there's some good work bound to come from you.

I like the blurred horizon, adds realism to your render. Try to work on textures, materials, dust, randomness...
