Artist's Note

3ds Max rendering, photoshop finishing. Seems like I can never get the textures mapped the way I want them no matter where I look for tutorials or tips. I like the general look of the render, but the texture sucks.

If anyone has any suggestions on a good tutorial that won't take a genius to understand, I'd appreciate the assist.

Comments welcome as always. (1600)

Like you mentioned about the texture...
The render itself in interesting. I just wish it had solid structure to it, just seems like random structures placed together. Either way keep it up.

for something that big and multifaceted you'd have an easier time breaking it down into pieces and using a plugin like teporter, esp since it's mostly cubes. Dunno, I hate unwrapping too. I heard Deep UV is a good app to use, but it costs.
