Artist's Note

A Common Tern (get the title now?) in flight over the Great Gull Island wildlife sanctuary in Long Island Sound.

This was shot on film (gasp!) which is why it's a bit grainy. As the French say (and presumably some Canadians), "C'est la vie."

I'm primarily a photographer, but I wanted to throw this out there because I think it makes a good wallpaper. Give it a try, and know that I'm always appreciative of constructive criticism. This is, after all, a learning experience.

The zip contains two versions: 1600x1200 and 1440x900 widescreen.

Late update: Imrik has offered to vectorize this, and he's working on it now. I'm looking forward to it! Even later update: Haven't heard from him for a couple months; not sure what he's up to.
