Looks like you went overboard on this, while the background is nice the small text and tentacles dont match all that well with the rest of the overall theme.

pretty cool man. its kinda static, little better composition, and maybe some more details and i think you would be pretty well off. good place to start.

i like it man! but your ID on the low right corner looks out of place, u could merged it somewhere near to the tentacles
