Artist's Note
this was taken with a plain old digital camera. Just to prove that you don't need fancy equipment. Hell, or even fancy software: it was auto-optimized in iPhoto. My 16 year old sister took it. Enjoy!

There is almost too much contrast to have anything on the desktop, and the camera flash didn't help the situation. At least it's fairly clear.

I like the fact you don't see much noise. What brand of camera is it?

I love the fact that it adds so much depth to my desktop; and as I keep it clean I don't mind the contrast one bit.
I prefer good old photography to most digital art, so that might have something to do with it. Personally, I think that 3D wallpapers are way overrated, this is a nice change.
I'd like to see more stuff like this in the future.

canon powershot a70 (I think, it might have been an A60). Thanks for your kind comments. Since there is one icon on my desktop I too don't mind using this as a wallpaper, but it's definitely not for everyone.
