this shot is actually very well done.
only problem is it seems semi-blurred in a way...
is the background a render too??

Notice he later asks "is the background a render too?" To me the piece is okay, but everyone into 3d has modeled a chess set at some point, it's standard beginner's tutorial. The reflection of the background bitmap in the chess board is just awful though. The background is a photo though, no?
