Artist's Note

We all love Apple design. Most of us have PCs. Luminiscent Pear is a new concept, a new start: create pear-based instead of appel-based stuff.

This wallpaper is inspired from Apple Of Glass - White, by ~Jatin.

it's ok, but neither a new concept (see below) nor a new style (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/2845

)

Rarely done. I would be willing to say the aqua glass effect is among the most pervasive internet graphic trends of the last couple years.

sfSix: probably because it looks like nothing so much as a blown-up icon for a Dashboard widget. Seriously, this faux-OSX look is getting seriously old. Imitating the style of others has its place, as it's a useful trick for learning the mechanics of art. If you want your work to really stand out, though, you should focus on making something beautiful, not just something that looks like x (where x is the popular work being imitated).

Don't ever let anyone's negitaive opinions stop you from creating what you like. Good Job.. even if your not the first to do something like this..

I will keep this simple (similar to the image). Definitely something that will catch the eye. Love the colors involved, however, the lines at a slightly higher resolution then 300*600 appear somewhat choppy. In my opinion the magnetism of the image is due to its’ intense crispness. At higher resolution the image looses some of its appeal. Also notice an apple shape at about half height (not sure if this is intentional). If you could increase the clarity at higher resolutions so that there are no tiny jags along the perimeter I think that there would be more appeal to the image, but all around Great job!

Osiana and OmniTaz, thanks.

There was no intention of doing something unique or new. Saw an apple and thought of making it a pear. Practice that's all.

ThirdChild, I can see you are very good at making reviews. How about showing us your own work.

Omnitaz, not sure about the apple shape. Shape comes from a scanned picture of a pear and made line with the Photoshop pen tool.

Thanks to everyone anyway.
