I think it works well for what you wanted to accomplish. Its dark and empty in many spots, but would look cool for those who like dark desktops.

I agree. For some the contrast might be a bit too extreme, but for me it seems to work well. Got any other color variations? I think with a couple different combinations, you'd draw a lot more attention to it. But for the time being, I definitely dig it.
