Artist's Note
My old puma ball soccer model, restored in 3D. The real reference has almost lost all of it's surface since it's about 4-5 years old.
It's been hiding in my old files quite some time, thought I just finished it just for fun.
HDRI Lighting with basic skylight (2 seperate renders), mixed and tweaked in Photoshop, so It's like both realistic and stylized lighting blended together, kinda looks like a semi-studio based light..
Anyway, I just want to share my old ball with you guys, enjoy :)

Yowza. I looked at the picture before reading the description and thought "So? It's just a photograph of some soccer ball." But damn. That is a fine render to be sure. Well done.

quite a well done render - but how about some better compositon? It shouldn't be impossible to place the ball on a different pos and size on a little more sophisticated gradient to create space, looking on a lonely ball on a large field (the color is good). Weird words...

really nice render. its obvious you spent alot of time on this. i use to have the same ball except in green, and a slight different design. either way really slick job. honestly i fuckin love this.

Superb modelling on this. Feels like I can just reach out and touch it on full view. Loving this also. :-D

good work .... but maybe it's an optical illusion, but the ball's shape is odd.

wow i think that looks amazing...not much of a wall tho, grass or some killer vector would make it really rock.

reeeally nice render. everyone's a pro with pshop these days, it takes stuff like this to really stand out. only problem is that the ball rather looks like it's floating - i'd recommend a trendy reflection on the floor personally, and with all that light, some more going on on the ground would really make sense. either way, it's a great render, and it's one of the few i've seen lately that doesnt look better as a thumb than it does fullsize.
