looks a little blurry and unrefined and i'm not so sure what the reflective material is reflecting... looks like a fern of some sort.

Well, it's not much, but what is there is nice looking. What I would do is make the texture a higher resolution and turn down the bump a little bit to eliminate some of the rough edges on the spheres. Also, though this is just personal taste, I would use less specular and more diffuse in your lighting. Not bad, though. You've got potential.
