a cool concept, i like the idea of catering to desktop themers, but not dictating what they use. i know i don't have a pr0n folder on my desktop. aliasing needs fixing too.

the space for icon it has been explored before, some people liked it, some don't. I still like it. What does ruin this wall is the image quality and that nasty shadow. Fix that and you will have a good wall

I really love the main shape, but the anti-aliasing issues detract from it alot. As does the pixel drag at the top and the bottom of the shape (the one at the back is alright though). If you dont like the icon placement things you can simply... pixel drag the gradient overtop of them in photoshop... well, I guess its gotta be good for something. So yeah, very promising, just beef up the quality a bit.
