-Tried to create a wallpaper that doesn't steal too much attetion...

The checkers are too strong. Try making them more transparent. The background though doesn't have much to it either.

It's a good idea, but the checkers are too strong and the whole thing reminds me somewhat of white blood cells. (Aero: No one will ever accuse you of being tactful.)
