kinda reminds me of those default mac walls. try making the res about 1600x1200

Bold colors and great highlights make for a strong background... but this feels like just that, a background. The composition lacks a strong focal point, the eyes are pulled to the top right but... there's nothing there. This feels like one layer of a complex abstraction. The slight, barely there use of typography is pretty tasteful actually, but again, feels like only a piece of the puzzle. One strong aspect of this I noticed was the sublime and skilled use of scanlines as a subtle effect - nice work. With more focus and stronger composition, this could be a great wall.

looks like something i would use, since i stopped using walls and started using backgrounds... peachy orange. reminds me of those half and half bars.... yumm.. orange and cream.... ARROWED!
