Old Skin Sensorium - 7 Where It Grows

Probably the first really complex image of the series, colour palette continues to evolve too. Again, photo manipulation and airbrushing (all materials by myself).

This is an image from my new artwork series, Old Skin Sensorium. About 6 months of work went into this series of 19 images.
To experience it completely I recommend going to my website http://www.cybercrash.be where you can also download the soundtrack to the images which enhances the atmosphere a lot while viewing.

For this new series, I drastically changed the way I work on my images. Usually, I just go out and take pictures of whatever may inspire me and I start working in an almost stream-of-consciousness sort of way, always with somewhat of a concept or theme in mind, but nothing too concrete. But this time, I did quite a bit of planning before I actually went out to take pictures or before I fired up Photoshop.

Prints re available on the website.

i can see you put some serious time and effort into this, but it's a bit too "organic" for my tastes... better art than a wallpaper

The right looks like a snapshot of what my old backyard looked like in one corner... dirt, rocks, and roots/grass. Btw, whoever that is might wanna look into laser hair removal...re: unibrow :P
