I think by "beginners trend whore" he means the tech-ish lines and text that comprise the bulk of the image. Personally, I would ignore the comment, and know that it's very hard to please Arznek.
As far as the wallpaper itself goes, I don't like the arrows at all and I don't think they go with the rest of it. I'm a sucker for good grayscale - and this is pretty good - so without the arrows, this would be much better. Also, the text isn't doing much for this piece, but it isn't taking much away. Consider taking it out. Other than that, I don't know what I would change. Overall, I like it. It's definitely a candidate for my work wallpaper.

stop uploading unfinished stuff.. its just dumb to do.. if you need assistance or advice on what else to add then you should post it on the message boards with a link back to your site, you could have saved yourself the embarassing scores.

it is beginner's trendwhore stuff. this style was done a LOT a year ago where they just used a pen tool and held down the shift button to make an assload of 45 degree angled changes in a shape to make it look techy. it's been way overdone and looks tacky.

i think its a good start to a cool wp.. and to the ppl that said its easy: i didnt think we rated on difficulty of making it. i thought we rated on the aesthetic look of the wp
