Artist's Note

whody's way

To avoid misunderstandings: This is not a render. And it's not the only color, there's 3 others included.

Whody once said I should do some architecture. That's why I called this experiment after him =)
I'm quite content with the outcome of this piece, though I'm aware that it's not perfect, perhaps a little empty but I'd call it minimalistic.
Perspective and angles are not 100% correct, but then again I could have done a render.

Well, I think my style just doesn't like to capture straight lines - or I can't handle them yet.

Size is 1600x1200 in 4 colors.

Comments and ratings are as usually highly welcome!

I normally don't comment on much here, and I really should, but I had to come out from the shadows on this one. This is an excellent set of walls. I've downloaded, looked at all color versions of it, and it's just amazing, hands down. Great work here.

perfection is overrated, and you don't need it because all the little "details" that sometimes you may think are wrong, are actually what gives to your work a good feeling. It's the little error what makes your work YOURs.

Minimal without being empty. Serene. A simple building, who knows where, who knows when, dominating a flat landscape. The shadow-play is a nice touch, and the perpsective of the building walkway gives te impression that it goes on forever. You've nailed the depth perception aspect. You've got the right architecural dseign here, and you've got the right colour combos.

RESULT: You have adopted a new, fresh style, and have kept yourself quite in demand in the process.

And what about THIS IS?
Very, very tiresome work.
As, actually, all Your works. Sorry.
But I really think, that You HAVE to think about something new in Your styles. You need NEW works in NEW styles...
Thats all for now.
