Artist's Note
im a bit tired of makin abstract walls, so im trying to learn 3ds max properly, so i can get a nice job when im older... lol
seriously, im not expecting good reviews or anything like that, but if you could perhaps criticise or something...? i think a FEW people might like this as a wall anyway.
i know its poo, but... well, just wanted to share my first real creation with you fine fellows

Looks like you did an "underwater scene" tutorial. Not a bad job at all. The grass looks too wavy to me. Not such great wall material, but a nice little scene.

perhaps more concentrated lighting or a different background color would make this better, but... do you have photoshop? seriously, the plant needs work. at least blend it together... other than that, i like this wall :D nice start...

the thumb nail looks cool, but upon closer inspection it looks jagged and really grainy.

this is a big step for him,.. constructive criticism? well, you're an expert at photoshop,.. you should have edited the texture on the sand in photoshop ;)

I like it, but it is really lacking in some areas. The grass looks too rigid and angluar to be waving with the sea. Also, the sea water is clear in the foreground, but magically becomes obscure as it leaves the foreground. That kind of thing makes it look like we are in an aquarium tank with actual walls in it. I personally think the sand is the best part of the wallpaper, but that just me. Anyways, its a good start, but definately needs work in some key areas. Also, the sea seems kind of lonely with only one plant in it.
