chip: it's not like he takes a photo and slaps a filter on it. he references it and recreates it in illustrator. it takes a lot of work.

I didn't think much of your last wallpaper. But this is....realy great. I love it. As long as its creative and look good, I don't care if you made it in 2 seconds, because its the creative process in your brain that really matters.
