that orb is super cool.. but bryce has never been realy good at the whole landscaping thing.... imo... i dont do much 3d work but you might wanna laydown a bumpmap instead of just the texture... (i think thats what its called.. ) anyways... looking good so far... keep pluging away at it :: edit :: oops forgot to rate the sucker =P....

i'd say cut out the whole backdrop and put the orb in photoshop and go from there... the orb is looking quite superb if i do say so myself. . .

Thanks for the input guys, and I agree about the scene itself. I hadn't really reached must past simple boolean yet. Still a newbie...I'll learn more about the lighting, landscape and atmosphere soon, and transfer the bad mofo to a better world.
