It's really like a meteor has struck the ocean, and...it's cool...It's like someone took all the bad brycescapes, dumped them into 3ds and put a good idea behind it and made it rad.

interesting work, but the whole smudging trend is getting old IMO. i really like the explosion in the ocean

I'm not really into this. It does look like a standard bryce bang up, but i wont hold that against you. i'm definitely not fond of the sides, and the cliff looks aliased, even if it's just the texture. The camera angle being tilted is a nice change. really simulates the hit. also the lighting where the meteor hit is well done.

looks like bryce to me, but that doesnt matter. What matters are those motionblur things on the left and right. I like the 3d and the meteor thing, but the rest is not very appealing to me and spoils the 3d...

i think it looks a little bryce, but the fact that you used 3ds, i give you a 75, because i know just how difficult max is, and the fact that you didnt use bryce gives you some added bonus :P
