i agree with flash that middle piece distracts from the subtleness of the other work here. im also not feeling thing the little boxes on it.

Hmmm... not my bag, but pretty nice work. I think the main thing that hits me is the overlaying of the central item with a drop-shadow pointing down on top of a bevelled shape with a shadow pointing to the left - kind of confuses the eye. Original stuff though.

OMG! I have not seen anything like this since, well, months ago!! THis is excellent. I'm no expert on wallpaper, but its very soothing, the gray slowly becomes a diff. shade. Cool effect, Most of all, that "claw" thing does it. Not crazy abou the boxes underneath, but I coulod get used to them - goo for icons, maybe. WOW, nice work....

The original for this was a 400x800 image that I made into a wallpaper, that's why everything is packed near the middle. I made the image as a belated xmas present to my aforementioned friend, and printed it on glossy photo paper. looks really nice. the whole shape isn't shown in the art piece, but it is in the wall. sorry if it looks lame to some of you. I really like it. and BTW, the "noobish curve"" is what actually took the longest to make.*update* never planned on changing a thing. it's my work, and I made it for my friend. I'd rather keep it like the piece I gave it to her as.
