Image info ---------- Another macro shot combined with a complex Bryce render, touched up and edited in Photoshop. The title refers to the idea that with all the programs like Terragen nowadays, it's becoming extremely easy for anyone to make beautiful images (don't get me wrong, I know that you can be skilled at Terragen too). And so many of us begin to ask ourselves wether most of these images are art or not... I spent a lot of time working on this in Photoshop, especially on the lighting on the background 3D render.
Serie info ---------- Originally Pretty Picture Generator was going to be just an exploration of some sort of 3D futuristic/cubistic style I had in mind. As always, some form of concept started to grow around the images and if you pay attention to details and think about them a bit you might see references to the evolution of art and technology and the relations between them. Still, I tried to put a bit more focus on the esthetic aspect of the serie than the concept.
100 for the leaf and the dew, -5 cuz of the bg and text. that leaf is simply amazing tho. (the bottom drops seem a lil pixelated or something....might need a lil more blur)
