Artist's Note
I was going for something photorealistic, but decided not to halfway. I was afraid it would lose that vector-feel to it. So I did something simple, compared to my last complicated busy wall.
100% illustrator, 100% vector, 100% full-flavour.

something about the face/head is sort of weird..love the shapes in the background though - the foreground just..doesn't fit?

I agree with the above posts, its the lack of a mouth I find most disturbing. Over-all, interesting work.

The lack of a mouth: This represents that "love" is something that cannot be explained by words alone. It is something that needs to be felt, and needs to be seen with your own eyes to understand.
The childish breasts: To represent that the character is young. By this, it means that general love, not intimate love, is not limited to age boundaries. No, I don't like lolitas. It means just that.
And the nose? A traditional thing I always do, which I picked up from some manga and anime. A little bit of Japanese influence there.
By the way Wynton, what do you mean?
