Artist's Note
Alas, my first render (that I've submitted) from 3DStudio Max. I started playing with 3DSMax for the first time yesterday, so go easy. Sorry my name's in the corner, but I want it there.

yeah, its not bad looking and all that jazz, but the thing is ive seen this generic 3DSmax burst thingy so many times its just not perrty anymore. Otherwise, very nice work. Keep developing skills with your 3d!

For your second day, I am impressed. You have a talent. Please continue to use it, and stay away from using more than 1...possibly 2 filters... sometimes you need them, other times, you get made fun of ... badly.

I followed one tutorial on DevArt to work out how to make more than a fucking cube! That tutorial was how to make one of those swirly shapes, that look really random, but as history has dictated I am no good at following tutorials (never followed one fully ever!), so I just followed my instincts and made a few renders of my own style. Actually getting to grips with 3DSMax is easier than I initially thought - you just sorta need that first kick. Anyway most of the stuff in that pic is done in Photoshop as I'm rather good in that... **UPDATE** Lazy are you saying I've used a couple of dodgy filters..?
