while the two planes work really well in giving shape to the dark part of the wall, they in themselves take away from with the fake 3d feel. i almost think it might have worked better unshaded

very nice but the defined gray doesnt look right among the burnt and dodged background
im not sure what you can do but im just pointing this out :') keep it up .. its cool otherwise
