Definitely the longest amount of time I've spent on a render to date. 23 versions later, this is the final result.

"Extremely realistic" is not what comes to mind. The contrast seems much too high.

the contrast in the clouds isn't so good, but the lighting is great

The clouds need a bit of work, you could probably touch that up in photoshop without having to re-render and play with lighting settings...

why terragen ..... it takes no effort .... try 3ds max then you will be submit worthy

I've re-rendered, unfortunately I can't update yet. As for why terragen, it takes no effort, you obviously don't understand the time it takes to compose a scene exactly how you like it in Terragen.
