i think a bit more time spent on the overall composition and a bit less on squeezing in techniques would have helped. the right edge is actually quite flowing, but the plaid thing on the left makes no sense and just feels like a brick

this is an example of "just because you can doesn't mean you should". it's way too busy, and the greyish blocky-thing and text really don't have any business being there. it has potential tho...make it a little less busy, and you'll have something good on your hands.
