Awe inspiring? I would not put this on my desktop. :( Cool idea but too "blocky" for me. Also the reflections sem to jumbled and unrealistic.

Very very nice. I like it a lot. I wish it was a bit smoother though. The polygonal effect of the globes are cool, but I mean the rings/bars. If they were smoother. OR if they were more polygonal. It just seems that they were meant to be smooth but aren't. They can go either way, but they just seem to be in the middle of being smooth and being polygonal. Make a decision already :) My other disagreement with this is the Bryce like background. Other than that, bad ass image. Ok one more :) The reflections are a little weird. Maybe bluring some??
