This wallpaper is rather self-promotional, but, admittedly, far in advance. My last submission was "Manic", the cover art for the album I'm currently working on. Redbook is the album that will follow it. There is one track currently in progress on this album, named "Tired Eyes." You may find a demo of "Tired Eyes" here: [link] (Note: If the above link results in a 404, then the demo has since been removed for one reason or another. Please notify me if that happens and I have forgotten to change this description.)
Redbook will be somewhere along the lines of symphonic electronic/electronica. The cover will likley draw from some of the elements used here.
Note on criticism: The left side of this image is blank with reason - a function of my minimalistic nature. I like it like that. Please don't suggest that I fill it up with something, because I won't.
I worked hard on this, and I'm very pleased with the results. I hope the rest of you are too.
Dygel, this is very nice. There is nothing wrong with white on wallpaper, just too many people bitch about it. White is really nice sometimes when it's used well, and you accomplished that. It's a very simple piece yet portrays what its supposed to immediatly. The only thing that I dislike are the boxes/box borders on the bottom middle. Otherwise, this is pretty damn cool.
Neat. What's the significance of Redbook on that cylinder? Also, I thinkt he lines in that circle on the right would look better if it were the text carried over instead of lines. Or take out the lines and make sure that text doesn't overlap as far as it does.. just something down there doesn't gel. Overall, nice and smooth, I like. Lot of people don't like bright things but I think it's just fine. My eyes aren't as bad as some of these people who lock themselves away with their computers :)
Wins the Mojo Jojo Award for longest designer notes. The cosmic golf tees are nice. The microclutter in the bottom right is not so nice. This will probably make for better cover art than for a wp. I wouldn't want to look at that much white on my monitor.

Ah shoot. I copy/pasted my description from DeviantArt and the formatting got eaten up. The link above is http://dygel.groogroo.com/shared/Tired_E
