Lucid, this is a lot better than the first one, but it still lacks something. I dunno what. The explosion of color is fabulous and the effects you have added into this piece make it more worthwhile. I'm not sure if I would use it for a wallpaper, but it's definatly a great piece of abstract art. Very nice job Lucid, keep up the good work.

I'm impressed! Text gone, no annoying randomness. But one problem is that it's the eye that should stand out, and not the blocks. Just a thought to ponder :)

First off I redid the eye. This one looks cooler. :) More detail and richer colors. Then I added a bit of blur. Then put some gray tones in there. Filled in a lot of the white space to make it less harsh on the eyes, but kept enough negative space to create interest and leave room to breathe. Accented some geometric shapes (the arrows for one) which aid in the sense of movment. That balances out the strong eye on the left, it's just too rich and it needed something more heavy on the right. That's about all I can think of for now. Added some more subtle texture to the background and blurred the background some. All pretty subtle though. Ok so it's 3:30 in the morning and I couldn't sleep until I was satisfied with this image. Is something wrong here? -- I know what it lacks. It's not dark.. you people are cavemen! I knew it! :) oh and stupid meaningless text all over.. I'm not ruining with text.
