As I had quite a few requests to add a more complex background and more detail, I have posted version 3 of this piece. For all those who do not like 'Trendy' digital art, I suggest you go and engrave a piece of sandstone with a stick. MODERNIZM is the ONLY way forward ! ! ! :::::: PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT ::::::::

Well, you wanted comments...there is a difference between "trendy" and "original"...don't need sandstone and sticks to understand this concept. Please learn how to accept criticism and not to take it personally...it's not meant to be. I have many "trendy" works in my pics...there will be a breakthrough soon, always is, and I will welcome it. Sooo...you get an "f" for originality, and "a" for technique....and a "c" overall. Keep expanding the mind!!!

I agree with senta. I hate the grids. If I really like a wallpaper with grids I usually have to edit the grids out.

its much more interesting now with the background.
Its just that "your logic is flawed": there is a shadow over the flash in the centre. That keeps bothering me. You should make the background not just as a patch, but integrated in the design.
