Artist's Note
Acidspunk is a fullscreen visualization plug-in for winamp. It shows zooming twirling coloreffects syncronized with the music. It requires an mmx processor and directx. Visit the homepage at

Hey miriku, its not a BG....so dont sit too closely when watching this thing otherwise your eyes will hurt so umm...take a hike and use something boring like sexy analyzers...as ive said many times before who gives a damn if its not color coordinated!!! My only quarrel with this plugin is that the first version was much more efficient and in these newer ones the code is alot less efficient thus taking up much processing time.. Hey Soren see if you can get this thing to be rendered with a 3D API?

I don't know where you get your acid, or what's in it, but for a trip to look like that it had to be cut with something a lot heavier.

Miriku, Every current computer has MMX built in. Ever since P2, every Intel processer has had MMX built in. It may not be on the sticker on the front, but it's there, so why not use it.

Miriku, apparently you've never been fucked up on Acid, since this is what everything looks like, except for the text, which i had to take 80 points off for.... =)

actually, i liked this vis, perhaps it needs to be optimized for more recent cpu's as it suks up %time% like nothing else :/

one, it's real damn ugly. two, please not use so many colors that utterly fail to work with each other. three, mmx is sort of... um... outtie?
