It's not just about the theme and owning people, this is one of the best 2-d walls i have ever seen, amazing how everything is a separate image one on top of the other, yet they come together so well. great work, i'm using this wallpaper right now :)

fabulous. I love the interlaced effect and the title is very faint and subdued so it doesn't ruin the wallpaper, very nice.

As to go with all my other ratings of everything in Customize, i'll point out the bad things and leave the good things be... Small mode sucks, kinda pipish (NEW WORD, meaning: looks like pipes) and i hate pipishness (two forms of a new word in one sentence!! GLEE!!) and all the buttons are a bit small and plain black. Misery, I've seen your work with WinAmp, you can do better, although it still KICKS ASS!!

Whoa... I've used this for a couple months now and I still can't stay away! I don't care what anyone says, this skin is P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Please make more skins, Misery, for Sonique! You and Zeroidea are the the best skinners around, no one else even comes close! ;)

I've been using Misery Skins for years, got sonique just to see this one in action, and I must say I'm not disappointed. -2 sonique penalty though. I'm a winamp'er at heart, and the -2 is because you made me install Sonique! (How could I resist battle angel in a misery skin?) If I'm correct this is the first "themed" skin by Misery.

This is a sharp (no pun intended) skin. Misery is easily the best out there. the only one close is Atom Dog, and customize doesn't have any of his skins. Misery's skin was the reason I've switched to sonique from k jofol. I like to run at 1600*1200, and it's still a beauty...

This is the best skin so far for Sonique. I echo all the previous good reviews, only one problem, I run my computer at a very high res, and the buttons in mid mode are very hard to see. Anyway, I really hope to see you make more.

Hmmm how come the staff att customize.org haven't added a rating system that goes beyond the 100 marker??? I needed one when I rated this skin I typed in 1000 because I was so excited to rate this sweat looking skin.

Real cool, but the plat/pause/stop etc. buttons are way too small, and they should really get a lot more attention than that.

so much different than other skins of his, yet still very much the same... the nav mode is the best for any skin, hands down... the mid mode is very well done- only the things that needed to be changed were changed, the entire thing wasnt torn apart, and its actually smaller than the nav mode, something skin designers have been seeming to have a problem with... the small mode seems a bit out of place with the rest of the skin, however. but it does deserve the 100 rating on the site.

i think a lot of people miss the overall point here. based on BattleAngel anime, it is a themed skin. sometimes for the sake of keeping true to the theme, you would sacrifice in areas you may not normally do with a skin created without any influences. methinks people miss the point when rating skins, rate on the skin and its usability and aesthetics, not on the fact that may have been anime-inspired and you think you and misery are on the same plane and that he relates to you. he simply took a good idea and made it a better reality. -1 because nothing is ever perfect, not even to the originating artist.

Great skin. Good use of the metallic look, as well as the "blades" that extend. Not to much, not to little. Only gripe is the small buttons, but that's probably personal preference so I won't deduct. Please keep making skins (even for Sonique), they are greatly appreciated.

the mid-state mode is cool, but the pitch control really sucks, it's totally unusable. the nav console is pretty bland (it doesn't have those ureet pointy things that make the mid-state mode so nice ;)) and there's some anti-aliasing probs with the tubes. the small state is uh... normal. not that there's much to be done there, though. at first glance this skin seemed a bit unbalanced due to those tube/wire-thingies (whatever), but with fiddling around with it for some time now, it's beginning to look a bit better. weird flat grey look. plain misery ;)

Very nice. I would use it if I used Sonique. To me, the only advantage to using it is skins like this... the Vis and DSP plugins for Sonique are shit. But GREAT work.

I don't see what is so great about it but i sorta like the Metallic look. The small buttons made me hate it and the skin is too publicised!! Hell, theres been over a 1,000 at skinz.org. But I dont like this skin. Stupid Japanese.

Beyond Excellent...Truely awesome. Subtle use of colour, interesting design and good choice of anime (I love the Battle Angel Alita series ^_^). One thing ive noticed latly is the lack of rust from you art. I think its great that you have extended your style, because as much as I enjoy a LCD wire fest of a desktop, I prefer a clean elgent techo parade (hi shinter =))

Oh gawd..... Misery you've done it again, this time for Sonique! Before I get down to the review, I beg you, please don't stop skinning for Sonique, PLEASE! :D This is a masterpiece. I do have two objections though. The buttons are rather small and difficult to make out at high resolutions, and the progress indicators in the mid mode are hard to see as well. Overall however, this is a beauty. It's virtually perfect. I've donloaded it as soon as I saw it and haven't looked back since. It's so clean and refined...if it hadn't been for those buttons it would've been perfect, but then again, large buttons could spoil the overall look. If you could only be prsuaded to do a windowblinds skin now... :D
