this looks amazing. but i don't understand these minimalist setups. don't you sacrifice a lot of functionality by doing this? i like my computer to look good and be useful too...

well, take Firefox for example. buttons gone. status bar gone. menu is there, that's all. my firefox is full of information, and i find it very useful.
same with the file manager. there's nothing left of it. i use DOpus and have tons of buttons/menus that boost my productivity. i just couldn't operate in such a minimalist environment...

yeah me likes too. :) And i too have to disagree with garbanzo. Setups like these can be very usable and useful. I know alot of people who like all the buttons, and shiny things on their pc's, but their are others who like to take the time to customize their computers to their liking. minimal or not. These setups really do work very well. Anyways, good stuff man. :-D
