If you had changed the grey color in the scrollbars and caption buttons to something else and the startpage color to the window color this shot would have been a lot better. Apart from that it's a pretty decent shot.

I'm with Thomax and Kinetx on those points. And add the buddylist count too. Also: personally I'm not overly fond of those caption buttons.

as much as praise as you get, i still think you havent improved. the thing is, is you have all the exact same things in your shots at all times. i would suggest try modding something else. litestep, samurize, foobar. do something more than just modding a vs and then changing the colors in miranda and your startpage.

Apart from the white frame in Notepad indeed it is a pretty solid setup, that, when evolved could really be great.

One way to fix that white border: In Stylebuilder under the parts tree: Substyle > Values > General > Edit. After clicking Edit, you will see BorderColor under Properties. Anyways, you may or may not know it, but i thought I would point it out (took me forever to find that for some reason). Maybe that will help?
Anyways, I agree with the above criticisms (minus the school of thought behind some of it). Like it.
