the font and cl button make it for me...the lauchy looks great as well, are you able to make everything on it match the setup? i.e. mouseover fonts/highlights

Next monday i will get my new monitor. I took some time to choose one. Some of the main problems was the high contrast on some models. As for me too high. The first word that came to my mind as i saw this was "approach". The second was my curiosity about your next submission (as you wrote me that massage last week). Now after looking at it for some time there are some points i would like to write about. At first the low contrast is something different from the screaming colours. The only colour that jumps out is the deep black for buttons and text. Maybe tone it to a more grey or anthracite-tone. Now something which is really personal preference. But that hard cut on the wallpaper to the left side keeps me from giving this a "complete" feeling. Artistic approach - ment in a really positive way.

thank you everyone :) nitzua: yes, it's a handy little guy. marius: about the cut on the left, i actually think that's the whole point of it.. creates a certain tension in the wallpaper that i rather like. it also adds some needed contrast, and makes the whole desktop more exciting compositionally. but that's just my opinion, and i respect yours. and duly noted about the text colors, i'll be playing around with them some tomorrow. thanks for the words :]
