After a number of attempts to make a good impression on my first screeenshot i have come up with this. Please comment andtell me what i can improve.
Licensing: the artist has specified that ports and mods are allowed.

first off, i see too many default icons, reshack the icon for pic viewer, The gehrunnerjunge seems just empty, also hide icons in systray, and the wall is used by ALOT of people. try to be more creative. it just feels slammed together. i mean no disrespect to you Iml, just a few ideas if you want a cleaner desk.

Yay!, the 1st screenshot that has my skin in it :P
Try closing the EQ, it looks much better tht way.
I agree with PJ, getting rid of the system tray icons makes things much cleaner. Look at Rainmeter or Rainlendar to add the time, date, weather info or other sys info. Also, object dock 2 might go nice with that screen. Trulanchbar is another good one.
