.. stupid keyboard.

Thanks for the comments, though looking at it, I need to rearrange the icons better. I don't think I'd ever use shell replacements permanent, since you don't really add functionality, which is all my Windows is about.

wallpaper: Google Images (large), 'kiss in the rain', but I can't find it anymore
taskbar: FreeLaunchBar (QuickLaunch replacement) + TrayManager (hides system tray icons) + TClock2 (clock, remove start button, semitransparent menu, using a glitch to shift taskbar up)

Thanks again! I can't exactly remember how I did it, but you have to unlock and unhide the taskbar, resize it to a wierd height (eg 4 lines of text, but only 3 16x16 icons high), then lock it again. I think you probably need FreeLaunchBar, since it handles taskbar sizes really well. You can see it a bit better here using GSM: http://analities.com/satu/taskbar.jpg

About the icons, you can't deny gant/buff's versatility in having an icon for almost every app and folder and it's an improvement on the standard ones, though. I think I definately should've taken some time to find better ones which properly match.

it's noisy and funny aspect, so it won't work very well on other resolutions.
