I realize there isn't much new here (compared to my last 2 subs) but I wanted to try out a new status scheme for the IM contact list.

Looks great man.
But could anyone tell me where I could find some kind of tutorial that tells me how to skin Miranda? Thanks.

I suppose the point you're trying to make is that an improvement (or an attempted improvement) in the usability of a desktop or some component of it doesn't merit any attention. If that's your point (I can't be sure), I think you couldn't be more wrong. Unlike some other forms of art, desktop art has to be functional, not just innovative or pleasing to look at (I'm not suggesting I achieved any of those objectives here, only that they all need to be given weight) . Sure, the point is to try to maximize the production values in all of those realms but sometimes it's worth focusing on improving just one area like usability. That's what I was doing with this submission. But again...thanks for asking.
