Well, it's my birthday, so I'm gonna show off something I probably shouldn't. Justin's gonna kill me.
Anyways, gear and I are working on a suite, slowly but surely, that is built off a concept I made in mid april (I do a lot of concepts, but don't actually build them). I kind of want to build this in to a full-on suite, but you know how life goes.
Anyways, this is a very very early stage of what the theme's going to look like. The graphics the suite will be built off of are the litestep theme elements. Obviously, this is sort of a more refined version of my website's layout.
Most of the credit goes to gear on this theme. He's done some amazing coding on it. It looks like it's going to be a doozy. For example, the taskbar. When a new window is created, the taskbar slides to the left to accomodate the new taskbar item so that it stays automatically centered on the bottom of the screen. It's quite neat to see function.
I might build a visual style for it, depending on how things go. For now I'm just using Palladium. It can be found here on the website. The winamp skin, well, it's a winamp skin mutt that fits what I want right now. I also used some idioplatina icons that were modified to fit my needs. Lastly, The wallpaper I used is by David Lanham (google him).
I might make an icon set as well to fit this theme. As you can see the firefox icon is one example of something I might make.
Long designer notes... sorry to gear if he didn't want me to share this with the community, but I think it's really neat.
Happy birthday! I dig it. We're gonna do something new and interesting with this theme. The pink text was actually on my personal version cause i love pink, the default was white for selected text but it looks like Scott likes the pink too.
the vs looks nice too... this SS is so cool... almost a perfect shot... but the wallpaper.... anyways, the work that makes Disrupted back to the game, is pretty outstanding.
